An air fryer or infrared oven is great for heating onion blossoms because it makes them crispy. A common mistake is that many people do not add oil when reheating food using an air fryer. It is advisable to use less to maintain that narrowness.

How to prepare blooming onions

Peel onion and grate it under running water

Open the petals

Put eggs and milk in a bowl

Dip the onion in the egg and milk mixture, making sure you cover all the petals.

Place them in the dry flour mixture and use your hands to place the coat between the petals

Dip in the egg and milk mixture again, then in the dry flour mixture, making sure the second coating is done well.

Heat cooking oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot you can refrigerate the onion for 10 minutes.

Put the onion in the oil using the tongs and turn until browned and crispy.

If you are using an air fryer, sprinkle the oil with a small amount of oil for a good taste, and fry the air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until well cooked and crispy.

Place the onion in a cloth-lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Use a paper towel to apply the dried excess oil between the petals
