It’s quite common to make mistakes of different kinds and it’s not a bad thing. The important thing is to learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them. The best practice is to note down every mistake that your tutor points out and work on it till you understand and fix it.

Not practicing
Another common mistake is not practicing on a regular basis. People do it because they don’t feel the need for it. You start to forget your weak areas and the key points discussed in every Quran class if you don’t practice at home. When you practice on your own, you may encounter words that are difficult for you and you can ask them in the next Quran lesson. The best practice is to revise your lesson more than one time preferably on the same day.
